Peterborough, ON – The 173rd Annual Peterborough Ex has published a mobile app for Android. Now available on Google Play, the app highlights attractions, event information and news related to the Ex which opens on August 9th at Morrow Park in Peterborough.

The mobile app was built in partnership with acorn30, a Peterborough based marketing agency and is free to download and use.

“We are really excited to jump into the mobile app landscape,” says Ryan Moore, President of the Peterborough Agricultural Society. “There is so much happening at the Ex that we want fairgoers to have all the information in the palm of their hand.”

Heather Watson of acorn30, “The app will give organizers the ability to send out push notifications and is a useful tool to find out what is happening during the fair. After re-building the Ex website we felt that this was the next natural progression to modernize the way people can engage with and experience the Ex.”

In its’ 173rd year, the Peterborough Ag Society holds one of Canada’s longest running exhibitions. The Peterborough Ex will be held on August 9-12, 2018.
