Peterborough, ON – Two Fair Ambassadors were crowned at the opening ceremonies of the 173rd Annual Peterborough Exhibition.

Rebecca Stockdale returns for a second year as Senior Fair Ambassador. Stockdale is enrolled in Bussiness Administration at Fleming College. Raised on her family Dairy farm in Asphodel-Norwood, Stockdale has a passion for agriculture, is an active 4H member and leader.

“I am honoured to be part of the Peterborough Exhibition and grateful to represent the fair for the second time. I have been coming to this fair since I was born and look forward to new experiences each year,” said Stockdale.

Junior Fair Ambassador Chloe Shaw who is a student at North Shore Public School and is involved with 4H. Shaw is an active junior farmer with a dairy calf named Rebel who she trains and shows.

The Fair Ambassadors serve a 12-month term and represent the Agricultural Society at the Peterborough Ex as well as agricultural events throughout the community. Ambassadors develop leadership and public speaking skills while deepening their networks in agriculture in the community and beyond.
