As part of the 2020 Virtual Exhibition, the Peterborough Agricultural Society is holding the Ernest Boyles & Sons Virtual Steer and Junior Lamb Show and Sale. Judging of the animals will take place on July 31, 2020 with bidding opening on August 4 through until August 7, 2020.
The Junior Lamb Show and Sale is an excellent opportunity for young farmers to raise and market their own animal. It helps participants gain confidence and understanding for farming and supports youth in agriculture in our community.
The annual Steer Show and Sale showcases some of the areas’ finest beef producers. Peterborough Beef Farmers have been long known for producing good quality animals that have good yield. There eight entries of which the top six will be on the auction block.
Bidding rules and details are all posted online and anyone can bid on the online auction by visiting the auction website.

Earlier this year, the Peterborough Agricultural Society announced that they will be moving the annual Exhibition to an online event with fun competitions and ag education. Some of those competitions include; Dog with the Longest Tail, Best Tractor Drawing, Poultry, Open Horse and Rabbits and Cavies.
